How do I enable roaming?
First, ensure your mobile is VoLTE capable (if you’re unsure, check with your device manufacturer), then follow these simple steps:
1. Enable Mobile Data and Data Roaming on your mobile device
2. Check that your Access Point Network (APN) is set to ‘shwap’
What if I exceed my entitlements?
Currently there is no pay-per-use for roaming, enjoy roaming as part of your base mobile plans! If you have utilised all your roaming data, simply upgrade your plan to receive new entitlements immediately, or purchase an add-on from just $3.88/GB!
Does roaming cover calls?
Absolutely! Our plans include 288 minutes of roaming calls—whether you’re calling back to Singapore or making local calls in the country you’re visiting.
- To ensure smooth calling, check the “Network Operator (VoLTE Calls)” column in our roaming guide.
- For example: In Malaysia, connect to MAXIS/UMOBILE/CELCOM to enjoy VoLTE calls and stay in touch with home.
- For SMS, there will be no issues to receive OTP, but our plans do not include outgoing international SMS at the moment.
Can I make IDD calls?
International direct dialling (IDD) calls let you connect to overseas numbers directly. Enjoy all-inclusive IDD Talktime with your overseas friends with our IDD talktime:
