Renew, Recharge and Billing
- You may recharge your eight wallet in advance with the below methods:
- Debit or Credit Card via eight account
- At eight retailers/eight service center
There’s no limit to how much you can top up—your wallet credit does not expire as long as your Eight mobile plan remains active. This credit can be used for future renewals. The credits in the wallet are non-refundable, transferrable/ exchangeable for cash.
Please note: Wallet credits will not automatically renew your plan unless auto-recharge is enabled on your account.

Of course you can! Just log in to eight account and enter your card details; the auto-recurring will start. No more worries, please ensure that the card has sufficient balance at the time of auto renewal and 3DS payment is disabled. Alternatively, you can use PayNow to make your recharge payment.
The billing cycle is 30 days. If you sign up and the SIM card is activated on 1st July , the first plan will be billed directly on 1st July. Subsequently, the payment will kick in after 30 days.
The plan deduction will be based on wallet balance first and then the payment methods (Credit/ Debit) card that you added into the account. Login to eight account.
If your wallet has insufficient balance, the full amount will be charged to the Credit/Debit card linked to your account, as partial deductions from the wallet are not supported.
- Once your plan renewal is successful, you’ll receive an auto generated e-receipt from eight. If you need us to resend your e-receipt, do reach out to our support team helpme@eight.com.sg
- If you miss the date to renew your plan, you can renew it the next day. Simply do it on eight account or visit our retailers/eight Service Center
- At your plan expiry, the plan will go into a grace period of 60 days. During which you can receive SMS and notification to recharge. After 60 days, you will continue to receive SMS, however all unused wallet credit will be forfeited.
There is no expiry to wallet credit if you continue to renew your plan. However, if you choose not to renew your plan, you will enter a 60-day grace period. After 60 days, the unused credit will be forfeited.
- Plan renewal is automated should if there sufficient balance in your wallet. You can easily top up your wallet on your eight account here or by simply heading down to your nearest retailers.
Upgrading is instant!
- Log in to your eight account > Click on Recharge > Select your plan upgrade
- Or visit any eight retailer
Once the upgrade is activated, your current plan will be immediately terminated and replaced with the new one.
Please note that plan upgrades are billed in full and we are unable to reverse transactions for terminated or stacked plans, nor can we reinstate previously held plans.
Downgrades take effect at the next renewal cycle.
- Log in to your eight account > Biling > Your next plan on auto renew: change to a lower tiered plan
- Or visit any eight retailer
Your current plan will continue until the end of its 30-day cycle, after which the downgraded plan will begin. All plans are non-reversible and non-refundable.
Plan stacking allows you to purchase and queue additional plans.
- You can view and manage stacked plans in your eight account
- Stacked plans are activated based on purchase order
- Once activated, each stacked plan follows a 30-day cycle, just like your base plan
If you have stacked plans and choose to upgrade your current plan, all stacked plans will be terminated immediately upon upgrade.
To avoid losing any stacked plans, consider using them before upgrading or plan your upgrade after the stacked plans have completed their cycle. All plans are non-reversible and non-refundable.
