Installation & Activation

  • We will be with you through the journey! There are 2 simple steps:

    1. Book your NetLink Trust (NLT) appointment for NLT activation:
      Please select 3 slots for your NLT appointment in order of your preference. NLT will take up to 2 working days to confirm your appointment, and you will receive an email once your appointment is confirmed.

      Please be at home: If you are required to select a date and time as the technician from NLT will need access into your unit to complete the activation.
      You do not need to be home: If you are required to only select a date, NLT will perform the activation outside your residence.

      2. Book your Optical Network Terminal (ONT) appointment
      Upon successful NLT activation, our partner will reach out to you for ONT installation. If you do not have a router, you may purchase it from our installer on the spot. Please be at home during installation.

    Don’t worry about relocation! Just email us at home@eight.com.sg and we will fix it together with you! Charges may apply.

  • Don’t worry! NLT will reach out to you and arrange an installation. NLT will share the cost required before it is billed to you.

  • If the NLT team can’t accommodate any of your 3 preferred appointment slots, you’ll receive an email notification and can reschedule via MyAccount in the eight app. We appreciate your patience and understanding, as the NLT team manages appointments independently.

    1. If the NLT team can’t make it for your appointment, you’ll get a notification via email to inform you on the new timing. NLT is an independent team from eight and we will do our best to link both parties up!

    2. To reschedule your ONT appointment, just simply contact the installer that called you previously on your appointment. Or you can call 8880 8880 too!

    3. Yes, an adult (18 years or older) must be present to provide access to your home during the installation and testing process. When our team arrives, ensure that you have the QR code (sent to your email) ready, as well as your own router for installation.

    4. Right after the NLT completion, our installer will call you the next day to book your appointment for ONT installation.
